Forza 4

That's the beast I'm working through :)

I think it's the only 'long winded' achey that I will enjoy from all the 360 games I have played!

Also, got to get the 100,000 points in a single lap of drifting... I skipped all drifting events so far :(

From memory, I have 2 more week events, joined by 2 weekend events (R1 class) then that is my year 6 complete, already level 50.

Will probably do them tomorrow after I complete GoW 3 tonight.

As a bonnet view racer I didn't see or feel a great deal of difference in it.

I cannot play any racing game if I can't be sat in the cockpit view... Find it weird, even in F1 2010 I had to use cockpit, which was a pain in some races.

Dunno why I haven't subbed this thread already but oh well. :D

Hope to try the demo tonight, And try and get 7 more achievements on Forza 3 left to do before release doubt I'll get it done though. :o

How many people have pre-ordered this? I'm looking around for somewhere with the best deal with extra add-ons etc, so far the BMW 1M Coupe and the IPQ pack looks the best to me.

Is there anything I'm missing or should I just go for that one?

I haven't even seen any drifting events... Maybe I'm not looking hard enough

Think I've still got about half of the events to do

Anyway, I can't get enough of this demo... Professional difficulty feels spot on, I've never had such close racing. Simulation steering is punishing :D

A nice tip from the official forums since the UI is very stripped down compared to the FM3 demo (iirc). Playing and pausing your own music via the guide button and or remote gets rid of the in game music. I might have an extended go on it now.

It's for wheels really, controllers need that extra bit of input 'filtering' that the 'normal' setting gives to be honest.

I agree, but I seem to be enjoying it on simulation steering more at the moment, although I've only been playing about half an hour, will see how it pans out.

Not finding sim handling that difficult with the pad.

I need a decent wheel for this game though. The MS one I have is ok, and the CSR Elite is way too much money for me, so I'm very tempted to go for a CSR.

Hmmmmmmmm.

Loving the demo so far. Cars slide more, get twitchy over crests, squirely in braking zones when not being smooth and it feels like it reacts better when trying to balance the car. (on/off throttle)

I think i'll cave in and get the LE game, can't wait:D

as i have recently re purchased an xbox for this game... and some others too.... anyone who would like to add me feel welcome... ca9phoenix on there too.

i've not had a 360 since 2008 so am a bit behind the times!

There are no drift events. Do a hotlap round Fujimi Kaido or maybe the Nurburgring and switch the scoring to drift scoring.

I followed a guide that suggested using the HKS Evo and not taking it out of second gear. It took me forever. I think I stayed up till 4 in the morning to get it.

As for solid gold... Yeah, it's a serious slog.
