I've slowly narrowed my choices down to 2 smart phones, either sensation or iphone 4.
Im after peoples preferences over the two phones? I hear the battery life isnt all that good on the HTC?

whats battery life like on the samsung?

Isnt the iphone5 just a conference and not a realise date? plus that will prob be £500 to get.

The HTC Sensation battery is as poor as any other top end smartphone. Easily less than a day with average use.

But there main comparison point is the software. Do you want Android or iOS?

never used android software before, i've had a mess about with the iOS. I prefer the look and style of the android. plus it seems a lot easier to sort music and picutres out on it, without having to sync & being tied down to itunes.

Can you get the same apps with andriod & iOS?

thats good that samsung have had a think about the battery life. Its annoying that the iphone is build in so when the battery does fail and become rubbish you have to replace the phone and not just the battery.

So i might aswell wait to see what the iphone 5 has to offer and in the mean time have a good read up on the samsung.

Definitely wait for the iPhone 5 if the 4 is on your radar, it will at the very least be an incremental upgrade, eg better, for about the same price...

The Samsung stock has better battery life than the Sensation, with the iPhone 4 being better than that, but realistically coming from non-smartphones they're all crap and you might as well just accept charging them every night, then anything will be fine battery wise :p

If you wait 2 weeks or so the price of everything will shift as the market reacts to the new iPhone release.

actually the sensation is considerably worse than the sgs2, i've never had less than a days usage, even when it was brand new and I was fiddling constantly.

Also wait for the Nexus prime if u can wait a few more days. Both that and ip5 should both be great phones although there a chance you could disappointed with both of them.

And when it comes to quality I personal think HTC is better, iPhones in general I found to be a lot of hype about there quality as Ive not seen a iPhone yet that can take a hit and not break, or just see broken after a year or so.

Quality as in high quality materials and a premium feel, not durability and shatter resistance. HTC are actually fairly poor when it comes to quality, even though you might not think it.
