Just spent the last hour or so pounding round in the Zonda getting angry for lap after lap of running wide at that banked right hander round the lake. GRRRRRRR! Smashed my nearest friend on the BMW rival challenge though by 3 seconds

Took an age but I managed to hook up a decent lap of 1:41.9 which I am happy with. Could really do with a wheel though.

Forza is all I use my X360 for, so I'd say yes if you're really into your racing games. Admittedly I wasn't much of a PC gamer when I first got my X360 (though I was into things like CS and Quake long before the X360 came out), but for the last few years I've only used it for Forza and use my PC for everything else I would have once used my console for.

Got 5 achievements left to do in FM3 hope they get done still got to buy a car from all manufactures which I should do now while its easy enough, But need to do year 5 (almost finished this) and year 6. :eek:

I have a friend has one coming who has only used the X360 wheel as well. Guess hes in for a big surprise. Will keep you posted and maybe try to do a review on it if your holding off a bit before you order yourself.

This game really looks to be excellent in so many ways. Really polished too it seems. Great that most seem impressed.

Look forward to your upcoming splashes of paint.

Nothing ordered yet, but I have the LCE pre-ordered so would like the wheel before the game arrives. Hoping to sell my MS wheel so that will soften the blow a little as far as money is concerned.

I think I will be transferring my old paints across as it doesn't look that hard to do. But maybe I will make them free as it kind of spoiled FM3. I earned a lot of credits from them and it made the single player game a little too easy.

Not sure I would have the patience now to paint some of those cars again though. Long story, but that painting part of FM3 helped me through a very bad time.

My old garage has asked if I will be doing some, and with the new car clubs, maybe I could try doing one again.

I have got to learn how to do the painting side of it seen my younger brother do it and looks great but I just fail at doing it, Maybe it's because I have only recently got my own Xbox and not been jumping on my bro's for half hour or so in the last year.

Oh 3 achievements left yr5, yr6 and solid gold to do.

Who's forking out £60 for the limited edition? Oh and will you be pre-ordering instore or online? If I pre-order instore what's the latest date they have it on for, obviously not counting the actual day of release.

Yep, had it ordered online but will go to the store now as I have a gift card from my birthday to use.

Gone for the LCE from Game just for the fact I have £5 worth of points which knocked it down to a still eye watering £55. I can't not have the LCE though.

hey ibert so you using a pad at the moment......well would like to know what times you are getting on rivals with what car if you dont mind please?

decent pedals is where its at! more specific a decent brake pedal, when i put the nixim mod in my g25 pedals WOW what a difference it made, easily improves on lap times
