Hi all. Welcome to the Official OCUK 1v1 League for FIFA 12. This league will offer competitive fair play and enjoyment for like minded folks who wish to test their skills and compete with fellow OCUK members.

Here are some ground rules in place at the moment:

1. Minimum 4 games must be played each week. You will get deducted -2 points for each game you did not complete(maximum of 8 points will be deducted per week if u don’t play at all)
2. If any disconnects happen say at half time, you must reconnect and play the remaining time left i.e. play just one half if you was disconnected during half time. This rule can be overridden if say both parties decide to just record the score as it was when the DC happened(most do this if say only 10min left to play and got DC).
3. Anyone who drops out midseason will be banned from taking part in the next season/competition
4. Can use assist, semi or manual controls but cannot use Legecy defending.

Here is some more ground rules that i have copied and pasted from a well run fifa league that we will also follow. Some may state same thing has above:

The league itself is straightforward. All teams play each other twice, scores must be reported here and the table will be updated. If games are disconnected for any reason, play the remaining time in another game and add the scores.

Games are played via unranked invite. Home and away can be done via inviting once each, or if both sides are happy to play on, just rematch at the end of the game. In the event that a game begins in the snow, it is acceptable to quit out and restart. If both players are happy to play in the snow then feel free, but there is no obligation. Other weather conditions, a restart is up to the players, feel free if both free but snow is the only one that can force a restart even if only one player wants the restart.

So thats the rules and regulations in a nutshell. Basically if you cannot commit to just playing 4 games per week then their is no point in joining.

The above rules have been tried and tested in very well run 1v1 league in another forums so i will follow this format and hope it all works out.

If anyone has issues with certain players, PM me about the issue and i will see what i can do. Try and keep this thread friendly, no moaning about people playing a certain way please. Again, if you have any issues, PM me.

Team choices and actual league format will be decided later. For now if your interested and can play 4 games per week and fully accept the rules above, sign up.

I will also nominate 1 or two mods who will help me update the scores. We will not be using fifa 12’s built in league system as its in-accurate and does force rules such has amount of games u have to play per week and points deduction etc. I will use a website to do all of that and will give the mods the login details for it.

Most likely end next week, friday or in the weekend.

Reason is because im waiting until mid next week for people to sign up and then choose there team and get a few days practise.
