iPhone 4S - the deal you got

Right so is the best option generally to wait it out for a sim free and get a 12 month contract thats got it normal calls, messaging and internet for about £15 a month?

Seeing a few offers where the older 4 can be had for free at £36 a month making the overall contract about the same :s (I know they are getting rid of older stock of the 16gig phones but its in theory a good choice with £100 cash back)
 
Currently on an O2 Simplicity paying around £15 for unlimited texts, 600mins and 500MB data, so it made sense to just buy the phone sim-free this morning, sell my 3GS for whatever I can get, then sell teh 4S next year for the 5. Best of both worlds really, don't have to wait to get the new shiny toy, don't pay out the nose every month for the contract. I'd pay more for more data allowance but I'm not sure I come close to using all my current amount given I use wifi far more than 3G.
 
thats a few times I've read that people are getting 600 mins for £15 on simplicity... I've just signed up and I'm paying £16.50 for 300 minutes?? is that deal through some sort of cashback arrangement?
 
I've tried and failed twice to order from Three online :(

Keep getting "Error Occured" on the last step.
 
O2 have turned out expensive, even with the "already with O2 deal". I'm off to Three tomorrow to sort out my pre-order.
 
Gonna try calling the bank in the morning. Maybe they're blocking it for security.

Might go for that as I was thinking of getting the 32gb but got no need for the extra 16gb of storage. :)

I called them up and they said they were having trouble processing orders themselves, and said either call back before 10pm, or just keep trying the website. I tried both, and still no luck :(
