Will I see a performance difference with a better CPU cooler?

I have a Scythe Mugen 2 at the moment in a 600T case.

i5-750 @ 3.4 - Temps are 39 on idle and 59 on load.

I have 1x stock Scythe fan on the cooler....

I have a Silverstone Air Penetrator at the front of the case, with 2x Scythe Slipstreams at the top and 1x big 120mmx30mm fan at the back.

Noise isnt an issue.

Performance=lower temps

You already have a very good cooler and your temps are decent. That 750 should get to somewhere in the region of 4Ghz.

Yes, you will get lower temps with a better cooler, thus allowing you to OC higher.

being cooler in itself though, does not give your more performance

A better cooler will give you the chance to overcloxk and to keep your current or fall to lower temps. I would say that was a performanxe increase. So yeah

No it does'nt. As said above, it will give you more overclocking headroom although your temps are already fine.
