Would you RMA this?

Shame, I bought it from the MM. Apparently it was brand new and the original buyer was willing to sort the RMA out with OCUK, but that means i've now got to waste probably two lots of £10 in postage.

Had a similar problem on a couple of different 8800ultras a while ago, after looking the card over noticed it had some surface mounted components missing!

Just out of interest for anyone who has RMA'd a graphics card to OCUK before. How long does it take for them to test it and decided whether to replace it?

It depends how busy they are.

Sometimes it can be quick, sometimes it can take a few days.

I would suggest if returning a graphics card you provide as much evidence of the fault as possible.

Cards have been returned as faulty, tested OK and then come back still faulty as they can't always replicate the fault.

My most recent RMA which was a little over a week ago took two days.

Shame they're taking so long getting a new one from HIS

MSI are good though :)

Also, ask the seller to tell OcUK to send it directly to you once they have a new one and if it's faulty you'll get postage back.
