Also, WHO CALLS THEM AUTOMOBILES!?
a 12v "automobile" set-up in you're room is really very simple... because i know the right computer psu to power the amp and its cheep relable 1300watts and can easily provide 100amps + on 12v
Oh dear, I hoped it wouldn't descend like this, but rest assured ZZZAC some of us are rooting for you, albeit for the lols
Anyone who speaks English.
Guess xD said:The word automobile comes, via the French automobile, from the Ancient Greek word αὐτός (autós, "self") and the Latin mobilis ("movable"); meaning a vehicle that moves itself. The alternative name car is believed to originate from the Latin word carrus or carrum ("wheeled vehicle"), or the Middle English word carre ("cart") (from Old North French), in turn these are said to have originated from the Gaulish word karros (a Gallic Chariot).
I actually believe Car is more English here xD

Its in the English dictionary![]()
A car audio setup is meant for just that, its "tuned" for that environment, if you are deaf then fine, but if you want a quality you buy home speakers and ampsgood, no but seriously its not hard to make this work, the otehr weekend i had it up and running a 600w amp on a 400watt psu, and i need a new setup as my old amp blew
i do know what im doing,
and im not listning to any of youre ogus advice becuase im sick of being ranted at at always making the "wrong decisions" i admit ebay is no good for pc parts but with audio i do know what im doing
Is this the same "I know what im doing" as before?
Buying a strange CPU from China(or India cant remember) when you were told not to.
To mention the cpu was fine, it worked 100% and was a great clocker
Buying a second hand motherboard that blew when you were told not to.
That was an honest mistake and ive learnt from it
And now here we are with another blown motherboard and you thinking you know better than audio engineers who design their equipment for specific purposes.
Firstly that second motherboard was only a replacement of the first i could not do anything about that as i had nothing to test it with or send it back in the 60 days ebay gives. Secondly i'm not saying i know better but for my situation this would be what's best, as in a couple of years time ill have a car and can move the subs and amp, and i help my friend (Lakeway, singed Dj to morbit records)at party's and such so i am often relied upon to have a good sub and amp
]Here we go again.. car audio in a bedroom?![]()
Why don't you fix your pc first then use that as a sound system?
thats the whole idea, my pc needs a bit of work and i need a new amp and sub as my old surround sound active sub blew yet i still have some top quality speakers
zac get these, and you won't have any hassle setting them up, and you'll have amazing audio

1 x Corsair Gaming Audio Series SP2500 High-Power 2.1 PC Speaker System - 232 Watts RMS £169.99
1 x MSI 990FXA-GD65 AMD 990 FX (AMD AM3/AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard £109.98
1 x Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DL002) £41.99

Total : £345.95 (includes shipping : FREE).
Or my equivalent and not spend £169.99 on something that i could do more convinced to a more power and same quality standard with bigger subs and higher rms set-up as that will cost me under £100, and it may be a little more hassle but wont have any problems with that either.
So as for the conclusion, when i have had confirmation i can spend a big chunck of my £345 then i think im goin for this hdd mobo and ram combo.
