Failed my driving test this week... How many attempts did it take you?

Took me three attempts to pass. Though by doing that I've driven under all conditions the snow and ice of last year, and heavy rain and wind, and I consider myself to be a good driver, I'm certainly ecconomical in how I drive, saying I'm a 18 year old.

At the time I didn't think that me failing was fair, but looking back on it, looking on how good I was. I'm glad I failed twice, as the mistakes I made, and situations that I learned from, I'd of been in quite a few accidents - a couple of them would have been my fault. Certainly not a bad thing if you do fail, as you learn from it and become better at it.
 
Passed 2nd time, but it was ~5 years between tests, failed at 17 before leaving the car park simple by letting the car roll forward holding the clutch for a meter while manoeuvring the car to do a reverse parking exercise.... Apparently the vehicle is out of control in that situation.
Lots of things then went on in my life and as such didn't try again until i needed a car for a job. Passed with 3 minors.
 
I heard you can get an international license from India (insert developing country) and then get it translated into English for years driving here.
Doesn't seem fare to me considering what's required of natives.
 
I had my test booked for Friday the 14th at 14:00 but I was late :(

They wouldn't let me take it when I got there because I was 5-10 mins late :( Nobody's fault but my own, Set off 30 minutes early for a 15 minute drive to the test center but there was way too much traffic on the way there.

5-6 Weeks waiting list and another bunch of fee's, I will not be late next time that's for sure. My instructor didn't know where to put himself, I think he felt more upset than I did when we got there.
Maybe it was not meant to be, I'll let you know how I get on the next time as I am booking one as soon as possible and then hoping and praying for a cancellation sooner rather than later (Wish me luck)
 
I passed first time both times! Passed it once then managed to get it taken away for getting caught doing about 80 in a 70 twice so had to retake my theory and test again. Got 35 in my first theory and 34 in my second and haven't been caught speeding since then! :)
 
Passed first time about 6 months ago. Two minors *smug*

Sat it a week before leaving for Australia, so I really needed to pass first time

My instructor told me to hold the wheel how I feel comfortable, you take a minor in the test but you're left to concentrate on the important things. Just don't tangle your arms.

I passed second time. Damn postman buggered me up :mad:
 
Second time, first time someone pulled in front off me... So I got failed on the way back to the test center with 0 minors.. then second time passed with 0 minors.
