The Sith Empire guild was founded in August, the Republic guild was made 3 days ago.
Hopefully after time the numbers should even out with more new members choosing republic and some people currently in the Sith guild joining the light side of the force.
The member difference doesn't concern me a huge amount at the moment, it should be okay by release.
EDIT: Ofcourse you could switch to Republic if you are worried mate![]()
Ah, didn't realise the founding dates were that far apart

I've had my heart set on a Powertech bounty hunter for a while now, so I'll stick with it

I'll probably end up rolling a Republic class at some point anyway, so will be applying for the Republic guild when I do. A smuggler, perhaps.
My only MMO experience is two months of WoW on a PvE server, which was fairly dull, so it will be good to experience a PvP one

I applied for the Empire as a Inquisitor, but the sheer amount of people playing that class is putting me off, even though I want to experience the SI storyline. I wouldn't mind trying the Agent out, but I'm vain and materialistic and I'm really not fond of the Agent armour that I've seen (some massive goggles and a gilet constitutes protection?!) so I might apply to the OCUK Republic guild as a Trooper after all.
Can you do that or would I need to make a different account?
Don't worry about what other people are playing. The Sith and Jedi classes were always going to be the most popular. I mean, it's a Star Wars game. With the amount of options open to the classes, I'd wager no two Inquisitors within the guild will be the same. Some will spec into healing, some into the Assassin tree, some into Sorcerer DPS. There are more Sith warriors anyway
