It solves many problems, thats all.

First of all they would no longer be bouncing around the country causing a huge amount of annoyance.

People are so itchy to call for destruction, then cry when they see the result has solved only a small respite and cost so much.

paying them to move is a dangerous game because they will just come back and demand more money to move again. it doesnt "stop the buck" it starts it.

also, they got a offer to move. they refused it.

people havent "leapt to destroy things". the legal battle has lasted 10 years!

Well if immigration laws and such would finally change then perhaps it would be easier to keep them out forever, however im not seeing that happening.
 
they can have an incentive, when they contribute to the system they are taking from with no input.

Although i do agree, this is only going to make them move to a new place, for all this to start again.

The solution to this isnt going to be an easy one. The annoying thing is its costing tax payers so much, when the money is needed else were.

were they not offered houses here? If they say no to that, what would it take for them to move out of the country?

Sounds to me like all possible resoultions were refused hence why it got to this stage in the first place

Attempting to stir this in some sort of political direction is pointless, i don't care.

Its easy.

1.Accept the education of their young without interference.

2.Leave

3.Accept the consequences of their fate, sterilize them all.

Im not completely idiotic, sometimes you just cant change some people, unless you present them with a simple threat.

It doesn't solve any problems. They've been given many incentives to adhere to the law, they don't care.

It is partly a political problem, whether you care or not.

The only politics on the matter was the EUs recognition of the "ethnic" group, other than that its been mostly a law matter.

You may well not be completely idiotic but you certainly seem to have some pretty extreme ideas.

I take it that what you suggest above is a series of three options?
  • You seem to have the rather strange idea that conventional education will prove effective in overcoming any parental input or do you think that 'without interference' means that the parents will magically start inculcating conventional if alien (to the parents) ideas.
  • Leave . . . and to where do you think these people will go?
  • Sterilizing them all seems the most bizarre.

I suspect that you were having a quiet chuckle to yourself as you put forward those proposals weren't you?
 
Some people say jail is not the solution, I agree.......short prison term that is why it fail.

protesters who throw bricks and trash at police should get long jail sentences. People who tip rubbish at public should get long jail sentences. Lock them up long enough so they can't have kids whom they will have bad influence over and actually take over their parents position at criminal activities and become untouchable before 18.

Considering the state of our prison numbers, it would only make our problems worse, we cant literally fill our prisons to 100%, the police would fail to work beyond that.
 
So this about sums it up for me.

They are Irish, yet want to live in Essex

Most of these 'travellers' are claiming benefits, pay no taxes and choose which laws they adhere to.

They buy land, and with no planning permission, set up Europes biggest traveller site.

They don't want to live anywhere else. They don't want alternative sites, they don't want to travel and don't want new homes.

Scumbags!
