IT is one thing I would never go anywhere near, sounds soul destroying. Hopefully looking to get employed by one of the big banks in some analytical job, perhaps risk assessment, when I get out of uni (maths degree).
That makes me very sad indeed, I think the guy I was speaking about was maintaining legacy code for a large bank... regardless cobol programmers are a dying breed.
Thats not my issue although it would be nice considering the many issues with your kind I have I don't think the thread is big enough to list them suffice to say my job would probably be a hell of a lot easier if they wern't there
I think at some point i might do a big change of career for a while, maybe a year or two just to do something different. Like become a fisherman and spend months out at sea on a big trawler. could always come back and sit at a desk all day afterwards...
