Gaddafi was never going to see the inside of a courtroom, that much is certain.

Shame really as he may have had answers for the Lockerbie murders and the murder of Yvonne Fletcher and could have provided some closure.

The families of those victims might have well have prefered closure in a more suitable fashion as well.

as much as I support his downfall its pretty savage stuff today, I dont think anyones death should be celebrated

It's easy to say that from the comfort of the UK. I think I'd be pretty happy if the man who almost starved me and my family* on a whim was overthrown and killed.

*Refers to the incident I heard on the radio from John Simpson when Gaddafi decided that shops were a nest of exploitation so banned them.

Obama, the Nobel Peace Prize winner calling the summary execution of a POW a momentous day.

yeah it was the most fully star out please.I have ever seen. "for 40 years gaddafi ruled Libya with an iron fist" - obama. Well who supported him throughout those years, ****ing morron. I hate obama

Who do you think supported him throughout those years? Until very recently Gaddafi was completely isolated on the international arena.

very much agree with you there, i imagine those people have pretty fair reasons to hate the guy

anyone else expect him to pop up on the news tomorrow saying how its all a load of lies that he is dead spread by al-qaeda? and that he is fine and that his people "love" him

because he wanted to create a new currency with all the African countries and Islamic countries. The same thing Saddam Hussein wanted. We all know America is trying their best to keep the dollar the strongest currency.
