Top Gear USA

I hated it. I know the UK one is scripted etc but that doesn't bother me because they pull it off so well. The USA version is just terrible.

Kinda similar view, it was just boring. They did the Dodge Viper vs a 60's Cobra gunship, which was way inferior to the UK version with the Apache.

The Stig (and other) jokes were weak, I guess those guys just aren't that funny...

The Americans will love it as it will be about cars they love in America and they think JC rips on yank cars too much. It was right for them to change to suit them, but it shows just how good the UK version really is.

Some of the features are a little shallow (probably tailored more to the shows home audiences preference) but on the whole I found it watchable enough on the whole.

Some of it was a bit weak though. "Lets see which is the best Lambo by driving it in a straight line and see how quick it goes." er... great :p

I'm hoping the challenges will be good!

Apparently it gets better. There's just no chemistry between them at the beginning which is the main reason I stopped watching it. I think some people like watching the UK one because of the banter.

No it doesn't. Even Americans prefer the UK version.

Not bad but not as good as UK Top Gear. The Lambo test was a bit stupid, going in a straight line :\ The drifting was a stupid idea with the blind guy but the Evo section was really good :)

I like Tanner Foust and his driving is obviously pretty epic to watch. The other two I dislike. They are rednecks that still have an obvious bias against good cars purely because they are 'import'.
