Its got the same issue - it only has DVI and HDMI outputs - no displayport. So you wouldn't be getting the best out of the monitor, since you would be limited to the lower bandwidth HDMI connection. This thread has more info.

If you really want to go for that monitor then I would strongly suggest an AMD HD 6970 or HD 6950 2GB (perhaps two in crossfire).

ok i think i will go for a 6970 or do you recommend 2 6950 ..which will have better performance ?

Aye, but he say's he want it sooner since the Antec is currently on pre-order and not available until the 2nd November.

As an alternative you can do a lot worse than the excellent Thermalright Venomous X with two low-noise fans included.

Two HD 6950 2GB cards in crossfire will have much better performance than a single HD 6970 (or a GTX 580 for that matter). Here is a performance comparison.

If you are going for two HD 6950s, I would personally go with this model (the ASUS DirectCU II cooler is too big for crossfire on most boards).

The GTX 580 is certainly the faster card, but considering the higher price the HD 6970 is slightly better bang-for-buck in my opinion. Here is a comparison between the two cards.

As for ultra settings on BF3, I'm not sure - we will probably have to wait for the proper launch of the game to tell that (not the beta which was using older code), but based on what I have seen with my HD 6970 - it handles modern games (including the BF3 beta) very well indeed and makes them look good with high framerates.

I think going for a HD 6970 now and buying a second at a later point is a good idea - especially considering you really want to go for the Samsung 120Hz Displayport monitor. That said, by that point the shiny new 28nm graphics cards will be out which are likely to eclipse the existing 40nm card - so by that time it may make a lot more sense to simply replace the card than buy another HD 6970.
 
ok thanks but i think i will go with the 6950 with crossfire as i compared them with 6970 crossfire and there wasn't much difference (except in price :P )
 
Good choice, just make sure you go with a pair with decent dual slot cooler (not triple slot coolers) so there isn't any issue with fitting them on your board and maintaining good airflow. The HIS one I linked to above is a good option, but there are others - like MSI's Twin Frozr or even the AMD stock cooler - since it exhaust the hot air out the back of your case.

ah, didnt notice it was on pre order, and that is quite a while to wait. thermalright is probably the best bet in that price range then

since your going for 6950s nstead of 580s you could save a few quid by going for the 700W version of the PSU (i chose the 900W version with SLI 580s in mind as an upgrade path)
 
I would get a single card then you can then add another in the future, and you won't run into CF / SLI problems, That can be very frustrating.
 
I have changed the build a bit . I will not be getting bulky stuff( like monitor and case ) from ocuk as postage goes up too much .. also not getting that mouse anymore
