Ever noticed someone from here on another forum?

Not on a forum but kawolski stopped me in Torquay town centre and asked if I was westie from ocuk.... I proper span out and didnt know what was going on for a min lol!

But then it all came clear! Just would never imagine someone doing that on a Friday afternoon haha!
 
In real life; I only ever met people from OCUK last month at a motors meet, I wasnt sure if it was them or not until I asked. A friend of mine showed me the forums in 2004 when I was building a PC, but he hardly ever posts on here.
On the net I see people all the time. Thundycat on M3 Cutters, a few motors people on pistonheads, etc.

You say that like posting on a forum is considered "fake life".
 
Wes, Tres and Krooton are from a forum I used a while back. Met Krooton in real life too, at a New Years Party, Many moons ago.

I dont use other forums now really. Turns out I work with a guy who bought a system on here and lurks the forum, but he's the sort of guy who never loses a debate...Regardless of if he's wrong. :p Kinda annoying. But he's not a bad guy.

For instance he was telling me how his system was worth £1000 still in resale. A 920 i7 system with SLI. When I proved him wrong, he decided to say "Yeah well sometimes people dont know what they're buying, So I could get a £1000 back I just need to trick someone into buying it..."

Wow, yeah. Okay He wins. -_-

Well there are three forums out there that consist of OCUK members and a lot of ex members.

The only forum members I've spoke to in real life for any amount of time are Spie, Meatloaf (who I met on Saturday) and a work colleague who can remain nameless.
 
There's a few on bit-tech.

I remember one guy on here saying that he saw me at Alton towers a couple of months back, rather odd.

Although meeting a load of ocuk'ers at the meet was fun :)
 
I knew a guy on Runescape 5 years ago, then I seen him on here with the same name and asked and he said yes it was him.

(It was Orcvader)
 
Few on Bit-tech (though I just lurk there mostly) and I know Tefal from another (now extinct!) forum which he probably forgets!
 
I found someone on the SCN.net forums, can't remember who it was though! Also have worked with quite a few OcUKers in the past, seems to be quite common for IT people to be on here for some reason!
