Vag, heh.

I need a part number please guys. It's an audi TT quattro 1.8T, W reg.

I called Audi but the guy in the parts department didn't have a clue :/

Thanks:)

It would be easier to replace the arm, if you ask for a off side rear upper arm for your car then that will be it, or ask them if they supply the bushes seperately.

thanks guys.

but then i'd need someone with a bush pressing machine?

edit: just rung audi, £86 for the arm and bush :/

edit2: thats if its the right part, can anyone confirm the p/n? I can't get the wrong bit as the mot re-test is saturday morning.

Not a bad price for an arm with bush, if you can afford to run and buy a 1.8T TT I'm sure you can stretch to slightly more than the price of a tank of fuel to replace a critical suspension component.

So why the concern over the price of a suspension part? Doesn't seem bad to me for a genuine Audi part, but you may be able to get it cheaper from EuroCarParts or GSF.

because audi are charging £86 when the only thing that's broken is a £3 piece of rubber?

It's a genuine audi part only, gsf and eurocp do not stock it.

I think it's 1J0-407-181. Latest file I have from Audi says £10.42 + VAT.

Might be better to go this route and get the local garage to press it in?

How sure are you that's the right part? Audi told me you can't buy the bush without the arm.
