Can anyone help me choose out a mouse? at the moment im using a roccat kova light. I enjoyed it to begin with but after buying the arvo keyboard, software issues bug the hell out of me. Sometimes my mouse wont boot up, and sometimes reconnecting it doesn't solve it. i have to boot without the keyboard and plug keyboard back in after log in. Also the scroll wheel is starting be weird. It feels like a logitech g500 scroller without the lock button :( At first it had a good clicky feel when you put pressure on it but now you gotta hold mmb down then scroll. Very bad for gaming as i use that key a lot.

I can spend up to £50 on a mouse. I have huge skinny hands, my fingers are fairly long. After using the kova and borrowing a g500 i think i would prefer a smooth finish to the mouse. The DPI i use is about 2000 DPI, the 3rd setting on my mouse. So i don't really want to spend £70 on a premium mouse with 6000DPI when i can get the same mouse or better mouse with less DPI for £50.

I like the g500 but the scroll wheel puts me right off, even with the lock on.
What would you recommend?
Thanks
Marc

Deathadder seems to have a lot of good reviews, i cant say i like the overall look of it :( Then again i dont like a look of a lot of the good gaming mices, but i am quite fond of the Corsair M60. Dont want to pre order if it turns out to be bad :(

I have had 2 Death Adder mice and they both suffered from the double click problem, which is basically when you press the left mouse button, it acts as your doing 2 presses instead of 1.

So i replaced it with a Roccat Kone+ and that mouse is incredible.

Extremely worth the money.

MX518 only goes up to 1800dpi iirc. Though it is a fantastic mouse for the money and easily worth more than it is. Often on offer as well.

I had a roccat kone like you and the mouse wheel broke within a week. Which I then found out was a common problem after looking online. Other than that it was a nice mouse to use. I still have the broken mouse because I couldn't be bothered to return it :P

I still maintane the G9 is better :)

How is your g9xs right click? apparently its very sensitive! i like to rest my fingers on the keys.

SWTOR is coming... Razer Naga! slightly over-budget, but a MX518 as well for when youre playing FPS . Now thats way over budget.
