Who's still on I7 1366?

I am currently on i7 930 @ 4GHz with 12GB RAM and the GTX480. I game on a 24" monitor running at standard 1080p (1920x1080) and so far it maxes out anything I throw at it. It will probably be the video card I upgrade at some point before anything else and when it comes time to upgrade CPU and mobo then I will try and wait for IB-E at the earliest.

Stoner81.

Nothing wrong with 1366. Just hold on until Ivy. There's no point jumping on to the Sandy bandwagon so late only to think about Ivy later on. If you want to upgrade something, you can get yourself a new GPU, monitor or something ;)

1366, i'm still on 775 with a Q9650, upgrading to Sandybridge E in the next few weeks though. My Q9650 has lasted well and still does most things I use it for well but it is getting a little long in the tooth now.

Also to mention - my dad has a Q6600 in his pc *my old one*, still solid as a rock. Maybe thats why i'm an Intel fanboy? :p

I'm still on my 920 @3.8 and I was still under the impression that it was fine for a while yet. I did put some extra ram in the other week but I haven't noticed any difference between 6Gb to 12Gb - crackers when you think about it.

For games, I doubt you'll be pushed for another couple of years at least :)

Still with 1366, why upgrade now not worth it. My system does everything still.
Plenty of power in my 930 at 4ghz, ssd makes it snappy. If anything the 5870 is the weakest link, but only on bf3 i expect.

Still on my 920 and no plans to move from it.
Only thing I have changed since getting the 920 was adding an SSD a couple of months ago.
I will upgrade my GFX when I need too, but even that isn't truely necessary yet.

Im still using my I7 920 at 4.2 Ghz.

I decided to skip P67 / Z68, and might also skip LGA2011 if I can find the willpower.

I had an E8400 before and only wanted to upgrade to a quad - 775 quads were £180-£210, the I7 920 was £230, so thats why I went with 1366.

If I had known better I should have waited until Sandybridge :(. So now I'm going to try and skip a whole Gen.
