Anyone still play this? Just reinstalled it a few minutes ago. So much fun. Really really enjoyable.

Are there any similar games to this?

Have not played Swat 4 it in a while but its a great game still hoping they make swat 5, Tom Clancys Rainbox six series is a bit similar to swat although the newer ones are more action oriented than tactical.

Rainbow six used to be really good from what I can remember, but the newer ones are indeed purely action, with no real pretence at tactical nature.

Swat 5? Damn, going to google for that now.

Well that sucks I enjoyed swat 3/4 one of the only tactical shooters out there where you don't just shoot everything that moves.

I've had it sitting on my shelf for years, yet I've never actually installed it. Does it work on Windows 7 64-bit?

Still have SWAT 3 Elite Edition, was ahead of its time

Way better than the crap Rainbow Six has turned into lately.

Tried the suggestions in that thread? Unfortunately 10david.com died a while back so a lot of SWAT3/4 community additions were lost.

Shooting everything that moves was the best tactic.. equip everyone with a beanbag shotgun, you loose no points for making badguys, hostages, random people cry like little girls on the floor after taking a half dozen beanbags to the crotch.. then you just plasticuff everyone and your golden... Doing this you dont kill everyone but dont have to worry about the rules of engagement shoot first and keep shooting till they are on the floor
