This game looks phenomenal - it's a massive success when you know that it's the best looking game out there yet hardly anyone talks about the graphics because the gameplay is just that good. That said, you can really appreciate the sleek, polished and refined look of the game. I picked out a bunch from one of the more memorable missions of single player;

All captured with Fraps auto-screenshot function and scaled down from 1680x1050 to make viewing easier.

its like real life if your walking around after some guy punched you in the face a few times or your drunk..

its crazy an effect that used to apear in some games when you were suposed to be drunk are now apearing as a graphical feature.....

I really like motion blur as long as it's not overly done. Adds immersion and sort of a peripheral vision effect IMO. Smooths out other poor graphics that would otherwise spoil it

Agreed it can and often does spoil still pictures, but ingame it's great

Sorry if the images were blurry - as the screens were automatically taken, sometimes they will occur while I'm turning/aiming, hence the out-of-focus appearance. The first image of the lot is fine.

It does remind me of Mirrors Edge, which personally I found one of the best designed games to date.

This just takes it to another level and Mirrors Edge 2 is going to be jaw dropping too.

DICE made Mirror's Edge too

You can really see some of that slickness come through in this game as well. There's no chunky geometry or shiny textures anywhere here, unlike a lot of other games in the genre.

mirrors edge 2 will use the same graphics engine.

i dont know how people can play games with blur an depth of field effects turned on as i find them horrible

Yup, which is why I'm excited for the next one.

Even if it didn't sell very well.

I agree, I don't use DoF at all. Until they can replicate proper DoF, it stays off for me.

Some slightly more reasonable multiplayer shots this time

It's on Grand Bazaar, which I think is the best Rush map. It's impeccably designed and has some great weather effects on top.

I dont mind motion blur in screenshots/photos if done properly, but always disable it when playing a game normally though :/

I hate these threads, hey look at my pictures, errrr who cares we can all see them all during the game............ Screenshots are awesome for games that are not out yet, but these screenshots are pretty pointless. Or do people think they are the only ones who see them?
