cheeky but genuine question

OP, I hope you're very happy in your new white-person only town.

I hope you're walking along one night, pleased that there's not a dark pigmented person in sight, too caught up in your reverie to not notice the white 14yo chav walking up behind you and shanking you.

I hope then that the one black person in the town (he only comes out at night so as to not be set upon by all the white people) happens upon your bleeding (and possibly sexually abused) body and he rushes you to hospital, probably ruining the upholstery in his car in the process.
I hope that after many hours of surgery to put your blood and excrement back inside your body that your life is eventually saved by the dedicated and skilled hands of a doctor who wasn't born in this country.

Finally, I hope you get well soon.

To the people saying "oh, wanting to live with white English people is wrong??".
That's not what he said.
He said, "what part of the UK is best if you want to avoid foreigners and foreign neighbours and coloured people."
Yes, that's wrong.

I'm a foreigner (Indian) and I see nothing wrong with the OP's initial post or his want to be amongst people of his own 'kind'. I don't think it has anything to do with racial prejudice, foreigners just don't offer the OP the lifestyle that he wants, nothing wrong with wanting to go somewhere that does

If the op was a black guy wanting to live amongst other West Indians no one would have said anything, but because he is presumably a white guy he is automatically considered a racist.

The double standards in this country are sickening. If you're of a particular race or religion you can say what you want, but if you are white and English you have to keep your mouth shut.

I am white, originally from Ireland and have lived in London most of my life and can empathize with what the OP is asking. My area has changed so much from when I was a kid, I want to be able to converse with my neighbours in the English language, I want to be able to relate to them and enjoy similar things, I honestly don't even recognise where I live any more it has changed so drastically at an alarming rate.

Only the other day a scouser (am I allowed to say that?) lady asked me for directions and her response was "Finally someone who can ****ing speak English".

It isn't just white people in my area, it is also British Indians and British West Indians who are sick to the teeth with how the area has changed, of course they are the only ones allowed to voice such opinions in this country for if I were to voice opinions similar to theirs or agree with them I would be branded a racist.

Ahh well, only 6 months and then I am off to New Zealand to leave this country to rot in its hypocrisy.

Going to a football match, fight after the game, 10 pints in the pub and a Curry at night.

;)

There is nothing preventing you from doing that at the moment though

See my post on the previous page. Whilst he may not be racist, I think it's extremely stupid of the OP to choose where to live based on the skin colour of the local people.

Seriously WTF

So probably think a large proportion of foreigners that come to live here are stupid also then considering they usually choose to live in an area populated with there own kind?

This is not accurate. Please read the OP again.

If you're of a particular race or religion you can say what you want, but if you are white and English you have to keep your mouth shut.

This is demonstrably false.

It isn't just white people in my area, it is also British Indians and British West Indians who are sick to the teeth with how the area has changed

Please be specific. What sort of changes are you referring to, and why are the British Indians & British West Indians sick to the teeth with them?

Ahh well, only 6 months and then I am off to New Zealand to leave this country to rot in its hypocrisy.

So you are becoming a foreign immigrant because you're sick of all the foreign immigrants. I see. And not even a hint of irony. Truly superb.

Well I hope you don't mind brown people, because New Zealand has rather a lot of them. Additionally, you'll be expected to learn a bit of Maori while you're there. Let me know how that works out for you.

Why do you think it's stupid? Through hundreds of years of evolution making assumptions based on stereotypes and past knowledge has become an intrinsic part of our logic. Our brain does this firstly for survival and secondly for the achievement of a desirable lifestyle. The OP simply used this 'skill' to decide the presence of non-British people was detrimental to his desired lifestyle, therefore he will move to an area where they aren't as common.

True his logic may not be entirely true, but you can't argue that foreigners uphold the true 'English' lifestyle. If my town in India were to become say 70% non-Indian, I would certainly want to move to another town where there are more of my kind, nothing ****ing wrong with that.

So he's stupid because one (he didn't say only) criteria that is important to him in choosing where to live isn't the same criteria you would choose.

I have to admire your sense of irony in then trying to paint the OP as being judgemental, making sweeping generalisations...

Your town in India? Are you alluding to your origins, or do you personally own a small population centre?

I find it odd that you say you would move out of an Indian town if it became 70% non-Indian, yet presumably you were quite happy to move into a country which is 98.2% non-Indian. Would you care to explain this?

Was this why Fawlty Towers had no coloured customers?!?!? I believe it was set in Devon, and the Major seemed to be quite racist in his dialogue (the Major played by Ballard Berkely was a fine actor, I remember his TV advert for Gold Block Tobacco)

The Major racist, whatever gave you that idea?

:p

Since the OP hasn't justified or explained himself, I simply cannot see how the presence of someone who doesn't have white skin would affect his desired lifestyle.

So he's stupid because one (he didn't say only) criteria that is important to him in choosing where to live isn't the same criteria you would choose.

If you read the OP carefully, it very much sounds like it is the only criteria in his selection. He didn't ask for a list of places, he asked only for the BEST place to go to avoid foreigners. Therefore, in reality, he was only really looking for one answer. That logic suggests to me that it was the only factor in his selection.

Where have I made a generalisation about the OP or called the OP judgmental?

At the risk of putting words in his mouth I would suggest the difference is that in choosing where to live in the UK he made a conscious decision to live a particular life style in a particular environment and cultural mix.

Perhaps one of the reasons he would have chosen a home town in India is because for whatever reason he wanted to live in a environment and culture almost completely Indian in origin. If massive immigration changed the character of the Indian town he may decide he didn't want to live there any longer even though in other circumstances he would be happy to live in a predominantly white European setting.

The two choices are neither mutually exclusive, not inherently "racist".

i agree with a previous remark that if you're white you cannot make any such remarks in this country without being scolded, but if you're a muslim in britain who insults the indigenous population and who complains that the UK is 'infidel' territory and there 'aren't enough muslim areas' etc. then such comments are acceptable.

Accept it or not, white people are now made ot feel is as if they are second or even third-rate citizens in their own country due to the massive presence of other ethnic groups, many of whom abuse the facilties here rather than take advantage of them to improve their own lives.

Are we in England, Pakistan, Jamaica or China? Sometimes I cannot even tell anymore, I bet the tourists coming here have a hard time working out which country they are in. Ouch. Things can only get worse. This is only a small island, it cannot accomodate so many people.
