And the performance is GREAT!

Finally can max out BF3 completely and get over 60 fps, so if you are thinking of getting a second 560 ti, do it! VRAM isn't a problem ;)

Got my ASRock Extreme4 Gen3 today as well, love it! Just waiting for my Raven RV02 to be delivered now so I can put it altogether.

Doesn't even reach 1GB of RAM

thanks i was debating to get another myself

Awaiting comment of from someone:
"But there are LAG-SPIKES! You are a noob if you don't notice it!! You are stupid for not noticing how your 1GB VRAM is ruining your gaming experience" :D

I'm awaiting a similar comment such as:

'BF3 is Vram hungry. Here is my screenshot of MSI Afterburner on my 3 Gb GTX 580 Lightning Editions showing that it uses more than 1.5 Gb Vram, and here are some useless massive graphs showing absolutely nothing as evidence of this. Therefore any graphics card with only 1 Gb Vram cant play this game, you get lag spikes and microstutter'.

And then I can say:

'TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL'.

How much system ram do you have?

This is a very important question, please answer!

Indeed it is. I had 4GB of ram with my CF 5850 1GB cards and got stuttering if I put any setting on Ultra. Now with 8GB I have everything but textures and shadows on Ultra and it runs a dream at 1080P. Averaging 70fps and dips to 50fps for a second when things get hectic.

I might try overclocking the cards to ensure I never drop below 60fps.

Could you do me a test and take out 4 Gb and see if the game runs any worse with only 4 Gb installed?

Indeed, because its using Shared Ram. With 8 Gb you should automatically have 3 Gb working as shared ram for a total of 4 Gb video ram, and still have 5 Gb left over even if your PC manages to fill all of the shared ram.

That's what I was thinking but I wasn't sure. I noticed no FPS drop at all when moving up to Ultra settings aswell. So sharing VRAM with system RAM isn't as slow as some people make out to be.

what chipsets, Mboards and ram do you think this might be relevant to, as in dual or tri channel.

Ok I've tried with only 4GB of system RAM, and there is no difference really.

Loving this motherboard, boot into windows in about 5 seconds.

All of them? Shared ram is automatic and happens on all PCs / Laptops:

That means that BF3 absolutely cannot be Vram limited if its working at 60+ FPS on ultra setting with 1 Gb Vram and 4 Gb System ram.

Hi starkill3r> Could you detail what resolution you play at, and possibly either screen shot your graphics settings in BF3 or list the settings you have at ultra, and if you are using AA (and which version etc) please :-)
