Well my girlfriend has decided to give up work as we will be better off on benefits. She was doing 18 hours a week part time but now she is quitting work to go on income support as having 2 kids, with one thing or another she will get £450 a week in benefits. we only just realised this and it is literally better in this country to not work, than than to try and work and bring in a poor income for effort.

We have never been on benefits, but now we have realised this, we think what the hell, this life is here for the taking, good old liblabcon as thety have made this possible.

You will probably thing this is outrageous, but who can blame us, in fact who can blame anyone for doing this, there are few jobs anyway.

And if they find out she "left" work they will refuse JSA, not sure how this impacts other benefits mind mate. I'd certainly get it checked out first.

£450 a week is almost double the average wage no?

Well, she's stopped for maternity leave, but she won't be going back after the baby, and when the baby arives, we get even more.

I can see your point of view but from an honesty point of view it's a different story. In my eyes liblabcon have made it this way your right.

It's all a mess, but good luck keeping busy, guess you can help with the upbringing of the children more since you both won't be working then?

Personally I'm all for a mum being able to stay home and look after the kids. It's just a shame that it's my taxes paying for it. If you're ok with that then there is little I can do about it. Is it necessary to tell us about it though? It's not something to be proud of.

I really hope this is a troll.

How about choosing not to add to the tax burden on everyone else?
