Which celebs have you met and how were they?

when I was young, someone in my family married someone related to Simon Groom, the Blue Peter presenter. I forget if the reception was at his house, but Goldie was there and she pinched a sandwich out of my hand lol thus, my claim to fame is that Goldie ate my sandwich :)

I saw James May in Loughborough this year whilst going to a conference - asked him for directions :p Also met Paul Weller in London - top bloke, very down to earth.

I met Gazza when he was player manager for Boston United FC, the manager of the new England hotel invite people to join him for a drink.

He's a raging self centered Alchy, joined him with 2 mates in the backroom and he was smashing back the pints while ranting about his glory dats.... such a self centered ego maniac.

Terry Nutkins and Michale Strachen when i was in the audience for the really wild show when i was a wee nipper.

Terry Wogan.... absolute legend! Saw him outside the Theater Royal in Nottingham.

Norman Cook aka Fat Boy Slim... met him and had a drink with him when i was working at my old student union. Class bloke!

Vernon Kaye... Self Centered Gimp who i met again when working at my old student union, he encouraged a stage rush which saw 2 people hospitalized

I met the late Edward Stobart a few years ago, I was delivering to a trailer company he had just bought into. Shy,reserved, hell of a stammer, a very decent bloke. - This was before I joined the business....

The Bushwhackers (as in the old wrestlers :o) They were sooo nice and hugely upbeat and happy. They asked if we were going to watch the wrestling show in Middlesbrough town hall that night, lied and said yes, then felt guilty and went a bought tickets :D

Uhm, parents new Mcgregor and Marti Pellow. Was quite some time ago now, when I was young, so I guess I've probably met them.

Rutger Hauer was staying in the same hotel as us in Venice over the Summer. Apparently he really likes it there, comes back to the same hotel time and time again. He had the presidential suite, and from what I could see from peering in when the cleaners had the doors open it was incredible. Didn't really get to speak to him too much, but he seemed relatively nice, if a bit introverted. To be honest, I had no idea who he was (too young). Just looking at his IMDB I can't believe he was Earle in Batman Begins! Didn't even recognise him! He had an interesting suit I must say, and yeah, looked bloody good for his age.
