Does anyone still use Pencils?

Two days ago finding that I was running out of pens, I grabbed a pencil. Sharpened it up nicely, and started using it for work/notes instead of a pen.

For some reason I quite like the way it works, I'm not even sure what about it I quite like, there is just something that just is so simple I'm enjoying it

Anyone else still use Pencils instead of the inky alternative?

Out of interest, as another topic, which is more environmentally friendly xD

I would guess pens are more EF as the pencil your using could well be rainforest wood. Google rainforest consequences.

I prefer a mechanical pencil to a pen. Just feels better to write with.

Pencils hurt my aluminium so I'm stuck with pens

A while back when I wanted to write a compostion onto manuscript, I found that a pencil is what I needed as pens cant be erased

The idea of a stylus and tablet drawing app also seems to be appealing to me quite a bit right now, but I think some of the apps need better polishing before it could completely replace alternatives...

Some pens can. I think they're called friction pens?
