Didn't even know they were changing it. Only got a 360 2 months ago and to be honest the dashboard is sooo...tacky looking. It's horrible.
I much prefer the more professional look of the PS3 XMB.

The Xbox dash just looks like it's aimed at kids.

Not that you spend much time on it so i don't really care all that much, but any improvement is welcome as the less I have to look at and navigate the current one the better.

I just want a nimble dashboard that is quick to use and doesn't lag out when trying to get parties etc together.

See i prefer the current dash, it annoys me to have 90% wasted space on a huge screen

Did anyone here get accepted into the preview programme for this new dashboard?

I can access the forums now, not sure if that means I've been accepted. No news on when the dash will appear for those who got accepted though.

Yep, if you can access the support forum from the Connect dashboard you're in.

You can now register your console

Aye, go to the Connect Dashboard website to obtain a licence key, redeem it on the Xbox and download the BETA registration app. Quite a clever way of doing it I suppose, beats the previous way of having to manually input all the info from your console.

It is quite clever. Now we wait a few more days... I'm looking forward to tinkering with the cloud saves most.

Does the integration with TV come with this update guys?
That one they touted a few weeks back saying you could have loads of TV channels at your disposal.

Thanks

It is much nicer. I've also registered both my 360s which is great.

Abooie · 10 Nov 2011 at 20:40

It's here NOW! I'm downloading. GO GO GO

(try network test to force it)

ic1male · 10 Nov 2011 at 20:40

LOL, it just booted me out of Gears of War during a rather great session I was having.

JohnnyDrama · 10 Nov 2011 at 20:51

Looking forward to streaming lovefilm to the xbox

cheets64 · 10 Nov 2011 at 20:55

Nothing here, tried network test

Are you confirmed to be in the test?

Nymins · 10 Nov 2011 at 21:25

Feels a lot faster to me, nice and snappy between the menus and looks a lot cleaner.

Pity the TV stuff isn't there yet, guess BBC etc need to make an "app" for it.

No, should I be, thought the dash updates came out around this time of year!
