Looks like we'll do a prerelease today, and the release candidate on sunday

Please help us test the ender fight in multiplayer as much as possible.
Left to do: The new sounds, fixing bugs from this prerelease, some minor polishing. And we'll do that on sunday

i dont intend to move my build, im someone who prefers to start fresh rather than carry stuff across, it just feels more fun to me.

Regarding homes being near the spawn etc whilst it is nice its also lovely to have an untainted view around your home so in retail i expect ill be making off for the horizon.

Still havent decided on a project so ill most likely just gather resources for the first weeks/months till i decide what to build

Chests/etc that are moved over will be moved over. When I say "inventories" I'm referring to just what you're carrying on your person.

With this new world move thing, would i lose my stuff if its in someone elses house? Would I lose the stuff on me (not in chests)

You will lose anything that is in the 1.8 map that isn't being moved to the 1.7 map this weekend (on you and in chests). Anything in the 1.7 map (in chests) will be able to be taken to the new 1.0 world when they are "connected" which will be a short while after we go live on 1.0. When you first start on the new 1.0 map, you will have nothing on you at all.

It's released at MineCon, the 18th-19th Nov.

11/11 was the original date, but they wanted to make it live on stage at the convention, so moved it on a week.

I have moved my chests to danm's house. He has moved his house to the new world, will my chests and all my stuff be in there or not?
