Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

you have internet troubles, this is the worst lag ive ever whitnessed, it aint me, speedtest is all fine, its gotta be you thats why you were having trouble connecting. :(
 
I've been having issues with lag tonight, stuttering about the place, on 1 or 2 bar connection :(

Done a speed test and everything seemed to be fine, Couldn't hit anything, not that I'm that good anyway but did notice a difference lol
 
This thread has gotten quite big, so apologies if it's already been discussed.

I noticed that Shopto has an announcement on their forums that they are no longer going to sell Pre-Orders of Call of Duty games.

They say they have been deluded with vitriol from people who didn't receive the game on release day, going as far as to bad mouth them all over Twitter and such.

They point out that quite fairly, it's the fault of Activision who impose such a policy on them and other retailers not to ship until Monday evening. They also then point out that the game is then available from midnight, so its available only hours after they have been able to ship them, with little guarantee that the customer will get it the next day.

So they've said they intend to boycott future releases until Activision resolves the issue.

Good on them for doing so, but I think it's going to need bigger retailers to join the cause. Be interesting to see whether their stance changes over the next 12 months.
 
how are we supposed to report riot shield boosters if you cannot file complaint during the game,then they leave before it finishes so you cannot do it in the lobby,i just had 4 in my game of hcsd.The only way i could see was to go to recent players then follow them to the next lobby

I would guess by the amount of people who recieved this game on launch day and even the day before that not many retailers took notice of any policy. It would surely be impossible to do release day delivery if they couldn't post until Monday night.

I feel for them tbh, if activison are so keen on them not shipping etc, they should make sure the game servers are off until launch day. People wouldn't cry so hard if their mates were not already playing 3 days before them.

If you want a game for launch guaranteed, buy from a walk in shop.

It's infinity ward, they don't learn from previous mistakes they just want you £40, well in you're case £250. :p

MW2 was made in a lunch break and they got so smashed on the money they took months to patch anything. Don't expect miracles from this lot now they have elite money to spend down the pub as well ;)
 
Now the red mist has cleared a bit :p

I am absolutely sweating my arse off to sustain my 2 K/D, its crazy, win loss is about 7 or 8 but I always play in a party.

I'm still not convinced though lol
 
My brother got kicked out of a game we were both in to the find match menu and when he tried to play it gave him a game update. Now his version is different to mine and I cant get the game to update so we cant play together. Same house so youd think we'd get an update at the same time.
