Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Anyone got any suggestions regarding getting co-op working as I can't for the life of me figure out why it won't connect to my mates PC ...

We've both got ports forwarded / anti-virus is off and windows firewall is off too yet BF3 still refuses to connect us :(

I'm on vista 64 and he's got win7 64.
 
I did say my example was extreme!

I wasn't suggesting the IRNV=armour of ultimate protection.

Games are just like this now, playing rewards you with better guns and toys.

I preferred how bf2 did it with unlocks that were better in some ways than the basic weapon but also came with a downside.

I do like bf3, enjoying it too but I think it'd be a hard game to get into in a few months when almost everyone you meet will have every perk there is.

The bullet spread is huge then though. I'd prefer a consistent recoil though.
 
Really starting to get annoyed with how people play this game now.

Always the same.

Either:

- Shot in back by someone camped in a corner
- Grenade
- Noobtube
- Mortar

No one ever seems to shoot anyone anymore, all i see is K/D Ratio whoring.
 
did EA get hacked or something? was logged into origin and it wouldnt let me play bf3, the battlelog site kept giving me a password error but wouldnt give me a login screen.

i quit origin relaunched to find my password didnt work , i did the reset password rubbish and was forced to make a password with atleast 1 uppercase letter
 
Strangely I hate the 40mm Gren in BC2, I thought it was horribly nooby, and I refused to use it much. Though in BF3 I love using the M320!
Not sure why I just love arcing shots across the battle field to land at someone's feet, plus they're awesome for getting people behind light cover.

see my post above yours goto profile.ea.com and reset your password and relog origin obviously.

it seems they reset passwords or made ones without any uppercase letters invalid

I use it from time to time and it has severe limitations at certain ranges and its by no meens the most used sight i come across that would be the acog
while playing still finding myself back on the holo sight more and more

as for the unlocks and people having the advantage again bull take assualt once you unlock the m416 and get a sight you are instantly on a par with anyone weapon wise even before that both starter guns can more than hold there own

The one nerf they should give the irnv is a slower aim time and thats about it

I know plenty of snipers that only use the IRNV with the Barrett M98B and they rape big time.
I personally have no draw backs using the IRNV, i have more drawbacks when not using it when on a server where most are using it and you try not too your doomed.
Zoom does not matter when everyone sticks out like a sore thumb.

I'm using onboard Realtek sound, with no issues.

You sure it's that? Have you updated the BIOS? I know I used to get hard locks in F1 2010, updated to a beta BIOS and bingo! none since.
