House share or get your own flat?? seriously i did this and could go on the net whenever i wanted, bring back as many girls as i wanted and didnt have to hear him smash my mums back doors in!

1st; gross :p 2nd I don't bring back girls, I am not a lesbian haha!

And I am looking to house share next year, or even get a shared flat, just to get my own space and freedom, but it comes down to money again! Once I have money, all my problems will be fixed haha! Temporary fixes will be deployed, as suggested earlier on the thread, to go on the router settings and fiddle the firewall
 
I can sort of understand the situation. I have a friend who's dad doesn't even let him out of the house unless it's to attend university and must be home by 6PM iirc. He's 21 :eek:

Once, we got him to come Birmingham with us and lied to him about when we'd be back. We told him we'd be back by 6PM but actually came back at 4AM. He was literally in tears. :D
 
Meh. My netgear sky router stopped working last week, on the same day that everyone else left for a holiday.

I was :mad:

I still have my 3G though, but its slow.

well, TBH, it would be more if i didn't hve about 8 months of inactivity.

I'm going to try some of the things suggested in the first two pages :p

Then later on, think about getting a dongle, so my internet connection isn't closed! If any one else can give me help without me having to email then in trust, that would be appreciated too ;)

In all seriousness though it sounds like a sucky situation where your Mother is enabling your stepfathers controlling behaviour. thought about living with your Pop's instead?

That definitely deserved a HUGE sigh :rolleyes: :p

I can't live with my pops unfortunately :( I stated earlier he can't really afford it, and he lives in a 1 bed flat (I sleep on the sofa bed in the living room) so it would be awkward living permanently there!
