Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Spawning was driving me mad yesterday. They had A & B, I was capturing B and it spawns there team there for an easy kill(me) Surely they should spawn at A?

Kill confirmed and team defender have the worst spawning as players are all over the map spread out so chances are you're going to spawn near an enemy.

I'd love some DLC that has all the maps from MW1&2. I would never play on MW3 maps again.

Never had that issue before and I've owned every cod -.-

It's always been there but no where near as obvious as MW3. The amount of times i appear to die from one bullett is madness.

They need to sort this lag compensator out. I'm sick of being killed when i'm round the corner and away yet on there screen i haven't even gone round the corner.

Saw MOAB for the first time last night. Haven't had it yet - I was surprised there was no nuke so it makes sense.

You can dream.

If MW3 had the MW2 maps included (or even new MW2 style maps) I would have given the game more of a chance. That's what I liked about maps like Skidrow, Rundown, Invasion, Afghan etc you only had 3 directions to worry about.

When playing objective games in MW3 there is just no where to defend your objective from, whether it's Domination, Demolition, CTF etc you will always get shot in the back, either due to somebody spawning next to you or because the maps are far too wide open with too many routes/buildings to watch.

Yesterday was the first time that I'd been a victim of spawning and being killed by the same guy that killed me previously. I walked round a corner, got shot in the back by some dude just sitting behind it, then when I spawned it was right in front of him, with my back to him where he just killed me again. Epic fail to be honest, they really need to do something about the spawns, maybe put you closer to team mates or something.

Just put shipment on 24/7 and be done with it. :D

Does anyone else have a sound problem? Sometimes when I'm firing a silenced weapon all of the game sound goes distorted, it usually happens if I'm being shot at while firing back with a silenced weapon, it never happens if I'm using a gun without a suppressor attachment though.

I got two emblems and two titles but no camo, am I due additional goodies then? There's a juggernaught and skull emblem and two elite titles, one green and silver and one black and silver. Do I even qualify for it? Only signed up today...

It's just a rubbish gun camo. You'll find it under the gold camo (called Winter).

Anyone know if the founder card with the code on it that you get with hardened is linked with the Elite code you also get? If not, I'll sell it.

The maps were far better. As you say, they only had three or four routes to get to the other end of the map. Now it's just death from every angle. :p

In MW2 it was 3 maximum in just about every situation I put myself in on any of the maps unless of course you run into the middle of the map for example on say Afghan. I struggled to think of a single point on a map with more then 2-3 entry points to worry about not including running into the center of the map.

The maps give or take a couple are pretty badly set up but its the spawn system that gets me. I swear the team that set it up were taken aside and one by one led in to a shed to be kicked in the head by a horse before being allowed to do anything.

The spawns are bad because there is no side of the map to call your own, Highrise is a perfect example because there is a side of the map for each team.

I also feel that the maps have suffered because they had to design them for kill confirmed and spec ops survival as well, can you imagine playing kill confirmed on Wasteland?

Lol agreed on this, the amount of times I've spawned infront of the enemy is ridiculous and then proceed to get shot in the back or blown up etc it's crazy. Should make spawning much better placed like MW2.

Agreed on the maps, they should have a mix of maps like MW2 and maps as they are on MW3 so you make everyone happy.

I think it is a sound thing in general, I have lost count of the amount of stingers I have fired and it hasn't made a sound. I haven't noticed a re-occuring theme behind when it does it but not noticed it on any guns.

Working it out you are right, each map was in esence a 3 x 3 grid of routes round the map. The middle point of the maps were always busy and dangerous but at least if you kept to the outskirts you could survive reasonably well without getting shot in the back.

This game is good while the game is good but there does seem to be too many times where it isn't for one reason or another. To be honest if all they fix is the lag compensation it would be 10000x better - at least then you know you are dying because the other people did better in that face off.

The bunker would be a gold mine.

I can think of 4 maps off the top of my head where you could have sides but that's done away with thanks to the spawn system.

I'm sure it was mentioned before release that they wanted it to be retarded so that you spawn close to the "action" which is why when you spawn you move 3 feet and get shot in the back.

Also where you been hiding yourself the past few days?

Not on MW3 that's where :p I had better offers.

I've just had a couple of games with Jake and it's still just as crap as ever and we all know what's wrong with the game so I won't go into it for the 500th time.

From playing it over the weekend I really enjoyed it, didn't have much problem with the spawns, and I managed to mostly skirt round the outside of the map like I used to on MW2/Black Ops.

I do think the spawns are a problem some of the time, but certainly not all the time.

I'm holding out for some decent maps to be released as DLC.
