*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

fuuu @ work.

3 and a half hours till I can play :D

Unless you have General Testing access you will need to wait

You can check by looking at www.swtor.com/tester

I've said from Day 1 i'm rolling a Consular/Sage - just suits the rest of my team and from my little MMO experience healers are few and far between so should be easy to group up... certainly the case in the beta - a lot of the Sorc/Sage's have taken a DPS tree, or they've gone Assassin/Shadow.

Take it the weekend beta is this weekend?

Yes - that is what they've planned; can't see any reason for a delay, esp with the invites starting to go out to download the client.

For the chap who moaned about no email - they send them out gradually (maybe to try and stop the hammering of the client dl?) - so you may not have one yet, my housemate hadn't but accessing www.swtor.com/tester was available to him with a Scheduled Test showing Beta Weekend - so he downloaded and waiting for the weekend.

As a Sith Inquisitor(Assassin) do you use your lightsaber much :p, looks kind of like plays as a rogue from WoW. (Could be completely wrong only seen a few short videos.)

Well I've said that if I got an invite to the Beta i wouldn't play but I've given in and downloading it now.

Looking forward to giving it a try this weekend think I'm going to roll a bounty hunter as I'm going Jedi Knight on release.

This is what I thought but I think Imperial Agent Operatives are the closest thing to WoWs Rogue class. But the limited amount on information I can find on IAs worries me :(

I'm annoyed at having hit my download cap before the latest build was released :( This means that I can either download to play more beta in the run up to release, and hope that the retail client disc has the lions share of the full client data - or just not play beta any further and d/l the full retail client instead.
