Who's got Virgin Media's TiVo?

I mentioned we're expecting a baby around the installation date so may need to move it depending on what happens & the guy sent it out. Nice touch really.

I love ours, yeah its cumbersome sometimes but the On demand service and the numbers of tuners makes it brilliant.

Had 1Tb TiVo from launch as the old SA V+ box was frustrating to use. I love it but my parents really don't get a long with it which is a shame. The update listed above sounds like it'll fix all of their criticisms, when's it due?

so its was you that got the bottle of champagne??? working for virgin at the moment and this was mentioned around the office.

nice touch i thought, shows that some companies do listen...

im currently offering the box out to loads of customers asking for it at the moment, having it myself also i wouldn't look back,

has its issues but with any new product its going to happen, waiting for the upgrades to come through, should resolve some of my annoyances anyway.

Yep, it was much appreciated too :)

I've never understood the love for the Skype box and interface. The interface is simple and rubbish.

Also never understood the complaint about virgin being slow. It's only the on demand stuff that is slow and well that's something extra and even though sky now offers some, the sheer amount isn't comparable.

The v+ old SA box was awful with crashing, but the Samsung one, is fine.

Haven't tried the TiVo box though, as they make you sign a 12month contract.

Got 15.2 !!

Noticed in the menus there is codes and options for in-home network streaming! Sounds nice, how does that work? Can I stream it to a PC or something? I assume thats what the ethernet socket is for on the back?

most of the old SA v+ boxes were dog slow at everything - mine was. The only slow thing about my tivo box is the time it takes to boot up, which i couldn't really care about:p

no its the other way around, they will never let you stream to pc.

SA boxes crash loads and hang up, they generally aren't slow, but the Samsung box replaced them anyway and all you have to do is phone virgin up and say your box keeps crashing and you'll get a new box.
