On certain subjects...(i.e Religion, History) it is all (mostly anyway) in my head already...on others...(i.e Politics or something that just doesn't sound right...) I do my research first if a thread pops up that I am interested in. I think that is what most people do, and I've learned a lot both from other posters such as Nitefly, Rainmaker and SPW and the guys in SA (not forgetting Biohazard and his RSS feed) and from doing my own research on the fly (normally to back up what I thought already)

and, yeah I will sometimes argue the opposite point just for fun.....

What I try not to do is ramble on not knowing what the hell I am talking about and be as objective as possible whether I am serious about the subject or not.

I think a few people got annoyed that people replied to posts in it and sometimes started conversations, and it got closed because of it. IIRC 5UB said they were talking about what to do with it but that was a while ago now so i don't think we'll see it.

I did make a sort of alternative when it first went, but then it came back for a little bit so i had it deleted and i'm don't really want to make another one without feeling awkward and desperate (story of my life) :p

That's not fair - it was closed because people kept on making utterly meaningless and trite posts for the sake of posting. It read like the worst msn conversation and it just got tedious to be honest.
