i prefer the facelift look , i was going to go for a CLK 55 but the SL/CL is in a completely different level.
I am looking forwards the the ABC system ******* up ;)

i much prefer the power delivery of the 5.5 litre supercharged engine to the BMW`s, The BM you need to rev its ass off to get most from it , the torque Delivery of the Merc is far better for my style driving

What a bunch of sanctimonious , sarcastic , people some of you are , All i did was start a thread to let the "MOTOR" section what car i am intending to buy next!

1 the fact is i WILL buy a sl or cl 55 amg next year

2 I couldnt give a flying sack of crud how many cars you have , had, etc

3 I am sorry if my choice of car offends any of you in any way.

4 Fact . grown men acting like spoiled brats, jeeze i hope none of you are in improtant jobs , with the attitudes some of you have had !

You pop into the forum having never set foot in here before after several years where your only activity was buying and selling second hand bits of computer in the For Sale forums. Your post tells everyone who you, perhaps, in the future, maybe going to buy an 8 year old Mercedes. You finish the post with a wink.

You are then suprised when everyone finds your thread... amusing? I mean what sort of reaction were you expecting? It looks like you were either posting as an elaborate joke, or posting so you'd get a load of people telling you how amazing you are and how jealous they are of your 500bhp Mercedes.

You don't have it this moment in time. That is a fact.

You will buy a merc next year, you might also end up driving a lada because change in circumstances. Who knew News Of The World will be gone a year ago?

1. Maybe, maybe not. People change their car choice. Almost everybody is thinking about having a new car of X description in Y time, and it's really rather of no interest to anyone that this is happening short of you being on the waiting list for a Veyron or somesuch. Tell us when you get it and we'll all go "ooh" and "aah", but until then, what are we meant to say in the 1000 threads per week that will arrive describing in detail people's choices? We can bear threads asking for input on a decision, but once a decision is made it's all a bit "meh".

2. This is just the same how we really don't care about what car you may be getting in the future.

3. The choice doesn't offend anyone at all; the SL55 and CL55 are good cars. In fact, I personally nearly bought one last week, I only backed out as there were a few odd things regarding the Keyless Go system, general condition and front end that put me off.

4. What really were you expecting us to say?

i beg to differ there are pics on here of my restoration of my 230 clk and a thread for it, i am not a shallow or needy to have people jealous or tell me i am amazing , this is a car forum , who the hell would be jelalous of a 8 year old car , if i wanted it to be a joke , or provoke jealousy , i would have said i am getting a NEW 63 amg at 120k !
