Lian Li's

Where have all the Lian Li's gone??

Sales are poor and have dropped off massively.

I think that other brands at lower pricing stole the sales so I made the decision to remove most of the products as they were not selling.

To be honest I made a loss of some of the Lian Li to get it sold, because it wasn't selling at cost even.

They are a premium product hence the high cost
But yeah I have an A71F which set me back over £200, £230 iirc, the quality really is fantastic, which I don't think anyone who hasn't had one can appreciate
Recently got a Silverstone HTPC case and Silverstone are regarded as having very good cases but it's not a patch on my Lian Li
But I can understand why people are reluctant to spend so much money when you can get a case with more features for half the cost, just a shame they'll never get to enjoy that quality LLs ooze
But yeah from a business point of view I can entirely understand why you would withdraw a line which isn't selling
Shame really

They are certainly a premium product. But some of their latest cases have been very expensively priced, ive seen some of their mid towers retailing at well over £200.00. My own A70F full tower cost me just under £170.00 when i got it about a year ago. For quality and finish there are few manufacturers who can match them.

Ahh thanks for the update just wondered was all hehe

I got a 7NFWX recently for about £140 and can honestly say I've never had a better case. Maybe all my past cases have been terrible, but the Lian Li really is a tremendously good product.

Wow didn't realise they have been completely taken off the site for not selling at all! Was looking into one but ended up getting the last Silverstone Temjin TJ08-E from here instead just to have an awesome matx case ;)

Aye I was thinking about some of the X-series cases, preferably the X1000, X900 or X2000 as I'm enamoured with the skyscraper design... but even the FT02, which is considered a not-cheap case is waaaaay less money and looks just as nice.

They really are superior imo but I am a bit bias considering my current case and last case where both Lian Li, but I do agree they are expensive but they are the best build quality I have ever seen without spending even more.

Yes they were expensive and they were great to look at but any of the newer ones I looked at performance was a bit questionable for such an expensive case. They were being outperformed by £60-70 cases quite regularly.

I would have to agree. I currently own 3 Lian Li cases. Have also used high end Silverstone but have always come back to the LL

Personally i think they are over hyped and over priced. There are far better cases available for the money. I have a PC-P50 and think it's quite a poor case. Build quality is medicore, it rattles, cable management is rather poor although it does have a couple of nice features such as the tool-less psu clamp and pci brackets. I am heavily modding my CM Storm Scout at the moment which is going to replace the PC-P50 as i think it's a much better case.

I did win a PC-60FNW on another forum and despite being much cheaper i think it's a better case than the PC-P50. Build quality is certainly better although cooling leaves a lot to be desired. Cable management is better too.

Got the A70F here, cable management can be very good if you take your time. I love the fact that its 99% tool-less, the only time i used a screw driver was for one side of my optical drive. Everything else uses clamps or thumbscrews, even the mobo mounting. Quality of it is fantastic, but i could never get round how they were charging more for some of their latest mid towers compared to what i paid for a full tower. Yet the midi's didnt offer anything more. I do like their understated design as well, far too many gaudy "gamer" style cases about, ie some of antecs latest offerings.

Might need to update one or two of the shop links at the top of the forum as the on in the SFF section is still linking to a Lain Li case ;)
