has all the nice matt black rubbery finish stuff started rubbing off?

ive had 3 now, one after the other and they all do the same.

6 months in and you can feel it coming off under your fingers.

my last one i had for just over a year and it had come fully off both buttons and both sides.

does this happen to others or is it just me? :(

my razer imperator has been spot on for the last few months no sign of any wear at all...

and ive used it for some serious hours of gameplay...

Only prob with mine is it is damn hard to clean as when i use a wipe to clean it it just sticks to the surface a lot so its hard to wipe it down. Also the back button (one on left nearest you) keeps going back twice instead of once which is highly annoying. Other than that its fine.

Its the diamondback 3g. Very rubbery texture makes my palms sweat ever so slightly which might be why it gets dirty easily. Had mine for about 3-4 years i think now.

had my diamondback a good 5 years maybe, its still going strong nout is coming off it and it still performs as new quality product!

My last copperheard did it, took more than a few months though, i think it took 3 years before it started. The guy commenting on acid might be on to something, maybe sweat slowly corrodes it. We all sweat all the time some people sweat more than others e.t.c.

I've had my razer salmosa for almost 3 years now (35 months exact) and it's still got it's rubbery surface inctact and no peeling or damage whatsoever. Not exactly light use either, did a stint of CoD4 gaming and the PC was shared so it was in use a lot of the time. Solid little mouse.

Like others have said it could be the sweat, as I don't sweat much and never when using a mouse :D

What the hell are you doing, bathing with it?

I've had a Death Adders, lasted over 2 years, still keep it for backup now I've got my Mamba which I've had for about a year, both are still good as new.

Had mamba about 2 years now i think, side grip coming of and leaves it very stick, and yes the stuff on top is waring off aswell, bloody annoying, great mouse though.

I used my razer imperator for ages and this didnt happen.

Recently swapped to a R.A.T 7 to give my old mouse as a ggift for a friends new gaming rig, love both of em but i never got any wear on my old mouse

Got a 5 year old deathadder that still looks good. Starting to wear in a couple of places but nothing major. Still a great product.

The razer keyboard I bought was a pile of junk though.

My Razer Copperhead has had years of use and is still like new (other than replacing the feet) only has the "rubberised" finish on the top buttons but its all there still.
