Yodel Delivery Service - OMG!

Yeah normally they have been pretty bad, at least in my experience. But as I said, today I can't complain as it turned up, even if it was 5pm.
 
Whether it is true or not I don't know but I was told last week by someone in the courier business that Yodel were close to going bust

TBH I don't think they are much worse that a lot of the others, the courier business seems to be generally incompetent, I think partly due to having prices squeezed all the time
 
Paid extra for delivery to arrive on last friday.
Arrived at depot at 1:12 am friday morning.
Hasn't moved since. :rolleyes:

They're about as useful as a condom machine in the Vatican.

Same with me fella, was supposed to be delivered yesterday (28th). Been stuck at the depot since 04:30 Mond morning and not even moved :mad:
 
Sadly they're being used everywhere...No idea why!

Low cost!

If I order anything thats going to be delivered by courier I ask for their name, if it's yodel I try and get it changed even if it costs a few quid more. Where I don't get the option and get stuck with Yodel I've had nothing but problems.
 
An Update to my post above - They're Utter ****!

After yet another broken Kindle (on my 4th one now) I yet again went through the faff of getting Yodel to pick up the broken one a few days later. Their tracking site shows that they picked it up on the 25th Oct and it hasn't moved since then. I contacted the Rainforest (didn't want to get charged) and they're happy that it's a Yodel issue.

Now for the kicker - My mail is picked up from a Central collection point and today they phoned to say "Are Yodel ever coming to pick this Kindle up, it's been sat here a month!". The lying ****bags have claimed to have picked it up but never. I'll have to get in touch with the RainForest and try to get this sorted again, ******* Yodel!

I had this problem with DHL. It was when we had the bad weather but they took well over a month to pick up my PS3 to return it. Every time I emailed them I got told a date they would definitely pick up the package and they never turned up.
 
Don't expect anything from them. I had a package to be picked up and taken back to Amazon so I duly booked a day and time slot with Yodel.

The day came and went with no sign of Yodel who had posted on their site that the driver had tried to pick up the package not once, not even twice but three times. Given that I waited in all day, I would have noticed if the doorbell rung or the letterbox used. Seeing as my PC room looks out over my driveway, I think I would also have noticed if he had indeed turned up.

Yodel seems to be another word for Liars Inc.
 
Had a Parcel meant to be arriving in Swindon today, here's the tracking note.

Next day delivery paid for.

My depot's good. They don't give a **** if i'm in or not. If they can, they shove it through the letter box. If not, they chuck it over my gate!!
 
Last week I bought something online and paid extra for a faster delivery. Not only was the delivery late, but my parcel went to someone on a completely different road (completely different road name and clearly marked). Took me an extra day to track down the parcel and get it back.

I will never buy anything again from anyone that uses Yodel.

At least they put yours out of sight, I've had a parcel left on my doorstep in clear view of the road. I found this one when I popped out after waiting in all day for the delivery. They didn't even ring the bell, just left it by the door!
 
Currently waiting for a delivery from yodel............
They came last thursday and carded - no one was in =(
Apparently carded friday and monday even though people were in both days and no cards were left
Can't get to the depot so will have to wait and see....

I booked the "next day pick up" from my work address at about 11pm the night before.
They arrived and collected the package on the day they said they would without issue.
In fact I was actually refunded for it before midnight...
 
Poated this previously in another thread.

Yodel are useless in the Nottingham area. Having to do a 20+ mile trip to Loughborough, that can only be done during normal working hours on weekdays (Saturdays were scribbled off on the card) only to be told they could not find the item and it may have been sent back to sender made me pretty mad.

Same,no problems with them for me either. Had a few things delivered while they were hdnl and a collection and delivery as yodel and no problems. Can't say I've had a problem with any couriers here though, only thing that changes between them is delivery time.

Stuff from HDNL/Yodel here often gets delivered by someone in a car :confused:

I have had stuff delivered (well not delivered) by them when ordering thru PC World Business. Ordered a laptop for a new sales guy at work. They lost two before I got the third.

Ordered Battlefield 3 from Amazon and they shipped with Yodel turned up at half 5 on the Friday. I'm sorry who the **** wants there delivery at half past 5. Phone system is **** and they never reply to your emails... AVOID!

Please fully star out any swearing in future. Thank you.
