Smart bootcut trousers for men?

I'm after a pair of smart black/charcoal trousers with hemming/cuffs large enough to sit comfortably over a pair of work boots. Regular fit men's trousers tend to bunch up as they don't fit over the top of my boots.

I've been unable to find any suitable smart bootcut trousers for men online. I've tried the usual suspects (H&M, Topman, ASOS, Next, River Island, etc.). Can anyone recommend anywhere else?

I dunno but have you tried Debenhams, Burton, Republic, BHS, M+S?

A few more you could try.

I find M&S straight cut to be fine over boots, they currently have some really nice ones at £25

I'm not 100% sure if this was supposed to be funny, but it was - suit trousers and workman's steel toe capped boots for the win

Smart and 'boot cut' don't go together I think.

Correct. I need to wear smart black trousers for work but I also like to wear work boots as I find them to be more comfortable and practical than formal shoes. So I need trousers that will fit over the tops of them.

you're in the same situation as a lot of doorstaff and security workers, there are plenty of trousers that will do the job
