*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

Seems they have removed most, if not all traces of the mention it was a "Launch Build".
Stephen Reid even said "Nowhere does it say that this is the launch build." This is a common occurance with Bioware, stating things were never said, but had, quite clearly in text or video, then later on..it's true.

I don't get it but I assume it's trying to reduce the constant spam on the forums of "If this is the launch build it's unacceptable!!111one"

i bet in the games directory its ful of comments relating to
retail.clientbeta :D

So me being a nab just found the subscription pricing for the game and it states:

Yes, a monthly subscription is required to play Star Wars: The Old Republic. Players will be able to select one of three different subscription options:
1 Month Subscription: $14.99 (£8.99/€12.99)
3 Month Subscription: $13.99 per month (one-time charge of $41.97/£25.17/€35.97)
6 Month Subscription: $12.99 per month (one-time charge of $77.94/£46.14/€65.94)

So my question is this before or after tax?

probably before.

shopto have 60day GTC for £18.85
£8.99 is what they are going to charge us a month.
standard price for mmos and EA need to recoup there 80million+ the game cost to make and then lucas arts take 35% of the profits

|Cheapest UK place to buy this anyone? I dont want a RUS key or anything silly....

Zavvi I believe is the cheapest at £35.

I'm a little bit confused with the release date. Wasn't european release the 22nd of Decemeber? All the sites are quoting 20th December though which i though was the American release date?

Belief, seems I was already accepted before your last post! :D
