This is just me getting it off my chest, there is no answer/solution.

Some lovely person has hit my car. The drivers side wing now has a dent the size of my head. It goes from the bonnet shut line with a deep vee. It has even made the shut line wonkey where the wing meets the bumper.

It may be a 11 year old Nissan Almera but its mine and I can't afford to fix her. They had no manners and failed to even leave a note to say sorry.

To make that bigger dent you would have to have felt the impact so you couldn't fail to realise it, so no leaving a note seems wrong.

a little trick I know does not work on all dents most large panels but if you make a fist and whack it it can pop back out.

Being the wing, it should be quite easy to remove the arch lining and get up under there to push out the worst of the dent.

It's when it's something like a bonnet, and you get a dent on the edge of one of the contours, and underneath it is the main structure of the bonnet, and there's no access for any tools to get in there... much like on my current bonnet :(

there's special tool for that it welds staples to the dent and then pulls it out good for pulling creases too

You sure it wasn't your head?????

In all seriousness it grinds my gears when people knowingly drive off after damaging your car.

Saw someone do it in Tesco car park a few months back, side swiped the car parked next to him quite hard as he reversed out of the space. I waited around for a bit and gave the owner the details, I hope the police got involved and he got done with leaving the scene of an accident to be honest.

I wish it was my head then it would have been my fault!
I'm not worried about the value, its 11 years old! Its the fact it's mine and they didn't have the manners to say sorry.
Beside which to the value, its got a scratch/dent on the rear where I avoided hitting a cat, but that was done by me and I like cats so I don't care!

Get a small fire extinguisher co2 type blast the sent with it till ltd finished the panel will be round minus 30 so don't lick it then get a hot air gun and from round 2 feet away heat the dent it should pop out
