'man' feeds kitten to his pet snake

Do people who feed live animals to pets sick? Or just when it's a cute fluffy animal that gets eaten.
But mice and other things are fine.

what difference? rats are incredibly inteligent maybe even more so than cats


whats wrong with the above video?, yea what i thought totally acceptable until its the other way around

And this is what I hate in modern society.

Either its wrong or it is fine, it can't be both. Fluffy animal syndrome annoys the hell out of me as does the hypocrisy behind it.
 
Main point is those people who feed live bunnies and kittens are very likely to be sociopaths and thus danger to normal population in the long term I say.

As far as I know pet shops sell already dead and frozen mice to feed pets. Feeding live pet-animals to snakes is just an excuse to feed their sociopathic needs.
 
I felt angered, though I'm at a loss as to why. Maybe because I have cats I feel emotionally invested.

I guess it is because we see cats as pets rather than food, so the idea of taking your pet (an animal which you pledge to feed and look after, let's not forget) to a snake, then distracting it so it has zero chance of survival will bring out all these emotions.
The guy is a ****, granted. Whether or not we should be starting a manhunt is another matter.
 
If you're talking about cats going out and eating mice in the night then that's fine, natural preditors etc. If you're talking about getting a live mouse and feeding it to your cat then that's wrong.
 
Chilling and disturbing. I dont consider feeding them mice and rats much nicer either. Personally I dont think it should be legal to keep pets like that at all.

I hope an animal lover finds him before the police do. He deserves whatever he gets.
 
I have to agree that this is a quite different to a rat or mouse.

Vermin are generally accepted as "snake food", where as a cat / kitten is strictly a pet. Much the same as we consider eating beef, pork and chicken acceptable, but to eat something like cat or dog is unacceptable (at least in western cultures).

I think it's pretty disgusting, and I hope they catch the guy.

what a load of bs, people haven't agreed with you, so now you change it.
How many of us burnt ants as a kid, are we sociopaths and become a danger to society. It used to be the norm.
 
i read some other disgusting news about a guy who has "stabbed" his dog with a kitchen knife and the dog's blood was all over the walls of his flat...

people like that should have the same done to them - knives plunged into this guy and then he gets repeatedly thrown against the walls until he dies too.

You realise most normal people will buy mice/rats that are bred specifically to be used for food and sold frozen. It's no different than us eating a cow, really.
