Lol I was just using them as an example, I don't use play anymore, like you say they are terrible.

TBH I think I'll just take a wander down to the local gamestation on the 20th and buy it there.

According to EA there was 750,000 unique players over that weekend. The last preorder figures i saw was something like 900,000 and that was only counting US retail preorders, i.e. not digital orders and not Europe.

I do think a lot more will get the 5 days than people think though.

Likewise, people will want to be playing over the weekend, getting access on the monday etc will be pointless for many.
 
Does anyone know any good sites for going through the various classes? I only took part in the two weekends with very little research and I am finding that I need some way to fill my wait :)
 
I highly doubt that they even reached a 100k on any of the Stess test.

I visited both the starter planets on 2 servers, when they were going on and each planet had 7 instance with 152 people per instance.
Yes I know there were lots of other players already passed the starter planet, but I would be very surprised if they got near the 200k mark.

I'm putting my money unfortunately on low capped servers, with a lot less people getting on 5 days early.

..But I would very happily be wrong!

The only canning that will be going on with this game will be George Lucas usual merchandising machine. TOR baked beans and Tennants Lager with nude pics of Bastila Shan on the side coming to a supermarket near you.
 
This might be a stupid question,but my email address wont work with the launcher now,saying your email address/pass is not recognized?

Is this because the servers are offline,getting ready for the lauch,is this why im seeing this message regarding my email address not being recognized?

I had to uninstall the client as it was corrupted,and i wanted to dl the game today and patch up-to-date.
 
So, now that people have given this a fair bit of play, is there enough to the game to keep someone interested who is only after a sequel to KOTOR and would ignore any multiplayer aspect?

lots and LOTS of quest/content one can solo from my point of view

and you never know, the "grouping" bug might bite you :P
