I had a stubborn one on a finger for over 5 years. Tried everything from freezing to acid treatments to pulling it out. Got fed up with it after a while and just left it there. Eventually, one day it just started to shrivel up and went away by itself. Got a big scar where it was though.
I read the packet on bazuka and decided they had the instructions wrong.
Cut the wart off with a scalpel and the root with some nail clippers. When it stopped bleeding I put the bazuka on the open wound.
It never grew back.

Ouch, I did try that once .... It was more pain than one could imagine ...
Except it grew back.
I just dug it out with a pumice stone and my nails serveral times. Every time it grew back.
