Arse! ****! Latest AMD/ATi mobility drivers for my laptop have wrecked Minecraft. Now the game has speckles and crashes. Other games play fine. Not a happy bunny today

Quick question on mining etiquette:

Say you're tunneling long and straight looking for diamonds and you come across an area where another user has clearly been active, what do you do?

a) Stear well clear of that area.

b) Carefully tunnel round exsisting lit areas, but anything not connecting or not lit is fair game.

c) Carry on going, leaving exposed tunnels and putting cobble where you please. Who cares, all is fair in love and minecraft.

I usually open up the area into a large mine, so that all adventurers can have fun (and not get lost in a maze of corridors). I have found a couple of missed ores along the way.

If you venture into the mine inside the village close to spawn, it already has a vast cavern ripe for reshaping into Mines of Moiria style. Also plenty of creeps too for farming xp.

Depending on your card you may need to set the AA to program decides.
I too got the latest drives and had to play with some setting to get rid of the lines. AA = AntiAilising
