GoG sale for the win.

Fallout
Fallout 2
Wing Commander 3
Stonekeep
Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Father

All for the princely sum of circa £10. Man I can't wait for Christmas holidays!

Why would you want to? GoG is completley drm free, you dont have to be connected to anything to run the games.

GoG dont muck about with their sales. Bang! 50% off everything till January.

Guess you cant add the fallouts to steam Pestilence?

They don't come with a key or anything. You literally just download the games, entirely DRM free, as an installer executable. I just back all my GoG stuff up onto an external hard drive and can bring them all with me to install and play wherever the hell I want.

Love these guys.

I am interested at Star WArs The Force Unleashed I. I heard it is better than the second one.
Is this true?
Also, is it really 30 Gb download size? Anybody knows? Cause if it is thank you, i''l pass....

It's a good game and yes I found it better than the second, the download is appox. 25gig.

Wow... Why so big!
Bad compression...
It uses the PS3 Bluray version textures so lots of high res textures & high res movies. My threads from when I paid full price for it in Nov 2009 are still here with lots of info if your unsure about buying!!

No i agree with tidusjar, thats just lazy programming. The textures arent high res at all it looks shocking. no need for a 25GB download - thats crazy and even worse for a 2 year old game.

Awesome thanks. THQ reckons I need to add £3 so I can download it for upto two years. I removed this and paid just the £2.50, it then gives you a link to download the .exe to start the download, it also gives you the key. I put the key straight into steam and now I can download via steam instead :)

Sod the extra £3 they wanted so I can download it for the next two years.

What is the Extended Download Service (EDS)?
EDS essentially allows you to download your purchase again for up to two (2) years, in the event your computer crashes or the downloaded file becomes damaged or corrupt. It can be thought of as an insurance policy in case anything goes wrong with your computer or the downloaded product. When you have downloadable items in your order, you will see a link to add EDS to your order on the shopping cart page or the checkout page. Upon payment of the specified fee, Digital River, Inc. ("DR") agrees to provide you (the "End User") a service that enables the End User to make multiple downloads of digital computer software products (a "Product" or "Products") purchased in a single order (an "Order") and downloaded from this Web site (the "Site") for a period of two (2) years after the date the End User purchases the Product (the "Service"). Click here for full details about EDS.
