Proof of Fox News' agenda - INSIDE!

Well, if we're going to get onto my 'agenda', then I actually took it from the New Statesman, not Media Matters. I simply don't believe it was a mistake, I believe it was intentional, and given the practices of said 'news organisation' in the past, I have good reason to.

And don't put words in my mouth, I didn't say it was the 'crime of the century', or anything close. I simply said it was proof of an overt agenda, which Fox News indisputably has.

Every major news network in the United States has an "overt agenda". Fox News Channel is actually widely regarded as the closest to achieving neutrality in their news coverage. If you think their news coverage is tainted by an 'agenda' try watching half an hour of CNN or MSNBC.
Who believes this? Members of the Tea Party?

CNN and MSNBC, while both excruciatingly bland and rubbish, are nowhere near as dominated by an editorial agenda as Fox.

But that's blatantly an error, when OP said there was an agenda I was looking for bias in the way the graph was constructed, and there isn't really any, hence my confusion.

thats the first error iv seen excel ever make....

buffoon....

I simply said it was proof of an overt agenda, which Fox News indisputably has.

except it's not proof of it, if fox wanted to lie they'd be more convincing.

You really think that if as you say this thing went though editors and publishers deliberately discussing how to manipulate the graph not one of them would say "errr isn't this a bit obvious?"?

Fox's agenda is the same as Disney, universal, ITV and channel 4 or any other entertainment company, make money.

Fool, it is convincing to plenty of american idiots who never passed maths 101...

No it's not.

(also to get to maths 101 they must have made it into college.)

fox makes money from those that pay them buffoon

yes, which would be advertisers based on their viewing figures and any tv network they sell shows to. (they make a lot of shows)

the axis labels are all over the place as well

McCain had a ridiculous running mate and ran a shambolic campaign by any standard (Game Change is a great book if you're interested). That Fox gave him much more positive coverage than the other networks shows their bias towards the Republicans, not that they are balanced.

Should all news networks provide equal amounts of positive coverage to both candidates regardless of the circumstances? What if Jesus was running for the Republicans and Hitler for the democrats?

Putting the 2008 election aside, Fox's evening schedule has been dominated for years by right-wing nutters. The overwhelming and undeniable slant of their programming is towards the Republicans.
