Right, finally about to take the plunge on watercooling!

OcUK D5 Vario Pump & Alphacool Clear HF D5 Top Value Combo
Hardware Labs Black ICE SR-1 360 Radiator
EK Supreme HF CPU Waterblock - Nickel Plexi
Phobya Balancer 150 Black Nickel
2x Mayhems Pastel - Light Red Coolant 1L
Masterkleer Hose Pack PVC 15,9/11mm (7/16ID) Clear 3.3m
9x EK PSC Compression Fitting 7/16 [16/12mm] - G1/4 - Black

Anything else I'm likely to need, or better products? I'm happy to psu short with a paperclip and have got some very sharp knives and a chopping block for cutting hosing!

Id recommend a couple of 90 degree bends at least, unless youve already factored these in.

Maybe something connection wise for a drain? Wish id planned this. Will annoy me in 6 months. haha

Right, specs changed a little bit, gone for the danger den monsoon reservoir :D and one of the topless d5 vario pumps.

Very excited now.

The XSPC Raystorm outperforms the EK Supreme - you might want to consider that - is reviewed as best cpu block of 2011

Also for a £1 just buy the jumper the psu - its so easy to use. The cutters you buy for the tubing do a great job as well - make life simple for an extra £9

Is get a Top for the pump ;)

Agree with ellisdj, cutter and jumper are worth it. The ray storm is good but the EK ones with a new jet plate are supposed to equal with the ray storm?

The cutters and jumper are on the list.

I'm fairly sure that the monsoon is a d5 pump top  and frankly I cannot get over how good it looks.

What is the EK jet plate??

Didnt see that anywhere when I bought my raystorm?

oh fair play - I didnt see that anywhere.

Either I am sure will be good, I like the raystorm I bought - it was easy to fit and I am getting good temps so happy days

IMHO, the fact that the raystorm doesn't use nickel/plexi makes it 100% **** :D

The main advantage of the HF is that it has plenty of fittings available for it :)

you cant see the copper bottom as its pointing down so it matters not for looks

If it performs the best which in the reviews I read which were very up to date it does then thats the one for me!!

it looks good lit up blue as well - that obviously personal pref

You're talking such minor differences in blocks that aesthetics should be right up there.

Let's face it, none of us do this for the performance!!!

In other news the D5 monsoon premium has arrived and it looks sick...

this :p

IMO, the monsoon looks like a piece of ****. A good piece of ****, but a piece of **** nonetheless. I really love the EK bay res's

**sticks fingers in ears**

LALALALALALALA

It looks amazing, best bay res i've seen and no tube reservoirs really get my motor going, they just seem like a daft way to do it!

However I might be eating my words now I've got 8 5 1/4" bay devices to fit into 6 bays!!! Ho hum I'll cross that bridge when i get to it!
