*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

Seeing as many people are asking, a quick recap (this is just the OcUK servers and friends)

Basilisk Droid - PVP (EU) - Harmless (OcUK Chums)

Frostclaw - PVE (EU) - TDR(E) OcUK guild (http://www.beyondtheclock.com)

Legions of Lettow - PVP (EU) - Echo Seven and UK Galactic Council

Hex Droid - PVP (EU) - DooM

Niman - PVP (EU-EN) - Immortals(E) (OcUK chums)

Peragus Mining Facility - PVE (EU) - The Fallen Unit(E)

Tomb of Freedon Nadd - PVP (EU) Black Sun Pirates(E) OcUK Guild, Red Guard(R), Dust Brigade(R)

Both the official OcUK guilds can be found http://www.beyondtheclock.com

Currently Niman and Basilisk Droid are less than 10min Q time. Frostclaw about 1 hour. ToFN is almost 2 hours.

Useful, added to the OP - I forgot this was originally my thread :p

got to 8th in queue from over a 1000 then disconnected
even rift allowed you back in queue where you was if got disconnected:rolleyes:

Servers are under some stress tonight that's for sure. I had no crashes or disconnects during the Beta but it's being a bitch tonight. I've had a few crashes and lots of hangs.

I'll be watching closely tomorrow for the servers coming online after maintenance. I wanna be first into those servers then never log out again :)

CaptainRave, you Q'ing for frostclaw? Zago ingame yes. I'm 200th, I'll see ya in there.

Seen a couple of people on official forums complaining about queues on ToFN and yet I strongly suspect they are the cause of that problem due to not going on their designated server but instead jumping on ours in huge quantities.

The whole pre-launch Guild thing sounded good but was handled terribly by Bioware. They had 2 options really: 1) Force guilds to stick to the server they were put on so as to keep the community evenly spread out or 2) Announce server placing several days before start of EGA to allow communities to spread out and be more organised to avoid the problems we have now.

Really hope they give free server transfers so the population can spread out more easily without having to start new characters. Would also allow communities to work together to decide which servers should be for which community(Russians, Spanish etc.) rather than having a big mix up.

Yup, trying to get into the queue at the moment - game is going a bit crazy. Yep, zago in-game.

We need to make a list of all our forum and character names - we should do it on the guild forums.

I am not sure where to post this but I'll just post this here anyways cus its SWTOR related.

I've been playing SWTOR for the past 20 hours with average FPS at 30-40 on medium settings which is good enough for me. However when I go into warzones, Alderan (sp?) in particular, my FPS plummets to anywhere between 0-5 on the lowest settings with everything turned off. I know my pc is crap and I have been thinking of upgrading for sometime but I don't see how the game can just go from Medium averaging 30-40 fps to unplayable Lowest of the low settings in the warzones.

My specs;

AMD Phenom Trip Core 2.3 Ghz
4GB DDR2 RAM
Radeon HD 6670
Win7 32 bit with the kernel patch that allows you to get full use of the 4GB RAM

I tried uninstalling the latest Cataylst Centre and completely removed the drivers with driver sweeper and re install the most up to date version. I am just stumped as I don't really want to go out and buy a brand spanking new system just to play this game but I will if I have too. At first I thought it could be my processor but when I check task manager its running at 70-80% and I still have like 800MB of RAM free. I really am stumped and if anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated, if not I spose Overclockers will be getting a new customer come New Year.

Wab used to be one of the main posters in this topic, since he got in her has hardly said a word so I doubt he checks OcUK that often. If you want to join the Immortals then you would be better off going to their forum and asking for an invite.

I have no idea about the rest but there is Black Sun Pirates, a pure OcUK Sith Empire guild on Tomb of Freedon Nadd(Might be slightly different to that, trying to remember name off top of head) server. All members have the ability to invite so you all you need to find is one member.

Stopped playing for the day as it is really laggy and that combined with my poor connection and bad computer(Will have a new one in a few days) means it is almost impossible to play.

I still post just not as much, as im playing the game now.

Can someone tell me what servers the ocuk guilds are on, please?

Not signed up to one yet but might as well apply :)
Depends what you want, we a on a PvP server Niman (which seems to be only English, in fact never seen any other language spoken)
If you would like to join us The Immortals Visit our site, or just yell once on the server :)
